To those who are interested in the evangelization of the Chinese, and to all who desire information concerning the oldest nation in the world and one of the grandest empires on which the sun has ever shone, the following pages are now presented, in the earnest hope and with the fervent prayer that they may contribute somewhat toward the ushering in of that glorious period when China, clothed and in her right mind, shall be found sitting at the feet of Jesus.

Christianity is so vast a topic that it is impossible for my website to cover the whole field. On account of this, I principally aim to provide an introduction to Fuzhou’s missionary history (mainly focused on Protestant Christianity). Here you will read about the rich Christian culture of Fuzhou city. But before you proceed, please check out my Foochow Missionaries Project and give me some feedback.
